The Solid Waste Department recently purchased a tire shredding machine, capable of processing car, truck and tractor tires at the Landfill.
To dispose of passenger/light truck tires, the cost is $3 each or $5 each with the rim. Prices for diesel truck and tractor tires are posted with the Solid Waste rate schedule.
A Tire Amnesty event is tentatively planned for June 2024.
