The Human Resources department strives to provide quality employment and benefit services to the employees of Daviess County Fiscal Court.
Department responsibilities include administering and enforcing personnel policies outlined in the administrative code, providing benefit information and assistance, processing payroll and conducting and assisting with the hiring process. Deputy Director of Emergency Management:
Assists Director in the day-to-day management, direction, and supervision of EMA staff, assumes the position in his/her absence. Assists in the coordination of all Daviess County governmental agencies, other city and county partners, and state and federal agencies to assure leadership, continuity and direction to prepare for, respond to, recover from and mitigate the impact of natural, manmade, or technological disasters upon its people or property. Supervises and performs services during evening and weekend park operations.
Detention Center – Employment Opportunities
Supervises inmates at the Daviess County Detention Center, one of the largest jails in Kentucky. The Deputy Jailer provides security, responds to emergency situations, monitors radio traffic, and transports inmates inside and outside the facility, along with other assigned duties.
