The Daviess County Animal Shelter receives thousands of animals annually. Some of them are returned to their owners, some find new homes, but unfortunately some are never placed in a home.
This is why it is so important that these animals find new homes. If you are interested in adopting a pet, stop by the shelter! We have cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds and colors.
Adoption fees for all pets include spay/neuter at the Daviess County Animal Shelter.
Adoption Fees
Dogs: $100.00
Kittens: $60.00
Cats: $40.00
Fees for dogs include a Kentucky dog tag, age appropriate vaccines, neuter/spay and microchip. Fees for cats include age appropriate vaccines, neuter/spay and microchip. Dog tags may also be purchased at the animal shelter for $5.00. County law mandates that all dogs four months or older wear this tag and be vaccinated against rabies.
