The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will be replacing a cross drain on U.S. 60, near the community of Reed in Henderson County.
The work will begin on Monday, November 1st and continue through Friday, November 5th. Local traffic will be detoured via KY-811.
Message boards will be placed in Henderson near U.S. 41 and in Owensboro near the GRADD office alerting trucks to detour via the Audubon Parkway.
According to KYTC, the effort will take longer to remedy due to the magnitude of the replacement parts. The culvert is approximately 19′ in width and 40′ long at mile marker 21.8 in Henderson County.
A section of the elevated trails at Panther Creek Park is closed for rehabilitation work.
The Public Works Department is repairing the handrails and replacing the boards on the walkway, as part of a comprehensive maintenance plan enacted by Daviess County Fiscal Court.
