Where does your trash go after it leaves your home?
In Owensboro, the first stop is likely the Grimes Avenue Transfer Station. Garbage trucks deposit waste that is hauled to the Landfill for final disposal. The Transfer Station is also a recycling facility and drop-off site for brush, concrete, batteries, used motor oil, and various types of metals.
