A traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian has arrived at the Owensboro Museum of Science and History.
Spark! Places of Innovation is part of the Museum on Main Street program and dives into innovation in small towns across America. See how people are creating new products, taking risks and meeting challenges with stories from more than 30 rural communities.
This exhibit also features students from Owensboro Innovation Academy, who identified the growing mental health needs of teens as a top priority. They developed a mentorship program to assist students moving from middle to high school.
Special thanks to Kentucky Humanities and RiverValley Behavioral Health for their support of this experience. The exhibit will run from October 21 to November 25.
