Nannie Belle Loop is being resurfaced on Thursday, March 30 by a contractor for Daviess County Public Works.
This stretch of Old Highway 144 runs between Jones Road and KY-144 near Thruston in eastern Daviess County.
Commissioner Chris Castlen, the liaison to Public Works, says approximately 26 road miles will be resurfaced this Fiscal Year. That includes streets in three subdivisions: The Woodlands off KY-54, Fox Chase off Hayden Road, and Fern Hill Woods off Medley Road.
Other notable completed projects to date include: sections of Daniels Lane, Burton Road, West 5th Street Road and Laketown Road.
This week, in addition to Nannie Belle Loop, the contractor paved a portion of Lee Rudy Road and Boswell Road in western Daviess County.
