The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet held a public meeting to discuss the proposed reconstruction of Thruston Dermont Road (KY-1456).
Both alternates call for a three-lane highway between KY-54 and Hayden Road. Residents were asked if they preferred an urban typical section with curb gutter and sidewalk, or a more rural section with ditches and a wider drainage footprint.
