An 8th grade student at Heritage Christian School built a remarkable model of the Daviess County Courthouse for a class project.
Sydnee Mayfield decided to recreate the Courthouse after a downtown trolley ride on the Owensboro Transit System. With the help of her father Marty, Sydnee used pictures and blueprints of the building to assemble the model from foam board.
Look for the Courthouse on display when you visit the Daviess County Clerk’s Office to renew your vehicle registration!
