Owensboro Health partnered with local first responders to host “Ghost Out,” an event to deter impaired driving.
The simulation exercise involved an injury crash that was caused by a drunk driver on prom weekend.
Students watched the emergency response at Trinity High School, Whitesville, KY and Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
Adam Johnston is a retired crash reconstructionist with the Owensboro Police Department. He challenged students to spread the word about the dangers of impaired driving and the effects on other friends and family.
