Frederica Street Paving to Begin Sept. 18

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will resurface U.S. 431/Frederica Street from the north end of Panther Creek Bridge to the U.S. 60 overpass, a distance of nearly three miles.

A contractor will begin addressing base failures on Thursday, September 15 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.  Paving operations will start on Sunday, September 18.

Work is scheduled to last approximately two to three weeks.

In addition to the base failures, the contractor will address the middle turn lanes and median areas as well as the on/off ramps from U.S. 60 onto Frederica Street.

The contractor plans to address all paving work at night.

Follow the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, District 2 for updates on this project.
