The U.S. Department of State is offering faster passport processing times to customers who apply on or after Monday, October 2, 2023.
Routine service is estimated at 8-11 weeks with expedited service reduced to 5-7 weeks.
These processing windows do not include mailing times, which may vary. Enroll in email updates about your application status at passportstatus.state.gov.
The Daviess County Clerk’s Office is a Passport Acceptance Facility. Visit the Recording Department on the first floor of the Courthouse to complete your application.
