The Owensboro Regional Farmers’ Market will open for the season on Saturday, April 17th.
Hours are 8am to Noon at the market on Triplett Street.
“We have a pavilion and a hybrid layout due to COVID-19. So we will have vendors in the parking lot as well as under the pavilion with three entryways and exits,” said George Bittel, President of the Market.
Customers are asked to wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing guidelines.
“We want everyone to come out and experience getting local food and local products from people in the community,” Bittel added.
At the beginning, customers will see a lot of baked goods, crafts, meat and dairy items. Fresh fruits and vegetables should arrive by late May and June.
