The Mattingly Target Shooting Range will host the 2024 Kentucky State Sporting Clays Championship.
Commissioner Larry Conder joined Parks Director Ross Leigh for the announcement on Friday.
Saturday, August 26 is “Take A Kid Outdoors Day,” a free event for children of all ages to learn about archery, ATV and firearm safety, plus reptiles, animal tracks and furs.
$25 sporting clay rounds will be offered next weekend, August 25-27, in the lead up to dove season.
