The Daviess County Fire Department has added an online application for County residents to request a burn permit.
To apply, visit https://www.daviessky.org/burnpermit/. Burn permits are FREE and may be issued for two weeks.
When applying for the permit, County residents should review the list of accepted items and all regulations associated with open burning.
Burn permits are required for County residents with less than one (1) acre of ground who are burning anything other than leaves. An informational packet is available through the Kentucky Division of Air Quality.
