Two 100-ft. long steel beams were delivered to Yellow Creek Park on Wednesday, March 17th.
The beams will support the new deck of the iron truss bridge. The historic span provides access to the Nature Center and hiking trails at the south end of the park.
As part of the rehabilitation, the contractor will install a new bridge deck, pressure wash and paint the iron truss structure. The work will be complete no later than May 30, 2021.
