Records Room Renovation Nearly Complete

The Daviess County Clerk’s Office is completing a major renovation project that will add 10 years of storage space to the Records Room.

It is the first significant update to the Recording Department going back to the 1960s, when the Courthouse was built.

The Clerk’s Office stores thousands of public records from mortgages and deeds to marriage licenses and plats.  Many of these records are available to view through eCCLIX©.

Watch the video to see the progress on the renovation, which required new flooring and shelving for the record books.
