The elevated trails at Panther Creek Park are receiving a much-needed rehabilitation.
Constructed in the late 1980s and early 1990s with used rails donated by CSX, the trails are an iconic feature of the park. Commissioner Larry Conder says the walkway and fencing is being replaced for additional safety.
The segment under construction begins at the Nature Lair Gazebo and connects with the Shelter by the parking lot. Contact the Parks Office with any questions at (270) 685-6142.
