Yellow Creek Park

Yellow Creek Park is located at 5710 Kentucky Highway 144 on the east side of Owensboro.

The park features a stocked fishing lake with hiking trails, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and the Jim Lambert Pioneer Village.  Other recreational opportunities include: a nationally recognized disc golf course, softball/baseball diamonds, basketball and 6 pickleball courts.

Each year, Yellow Creek Park is the host of the ROMP Bluegrass Music Festival, traditionally held at the end of June.  For more information, visit the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum at https://www.bluegrasshall.org/ or call (888) MY BANJO.

Host your next event at Yellow Creek Park in one of the five enclosed picnic shelters.  All shelters include ceiling fans, charcoal grills, picnic tables, lights, and access to leisure activities in the park. Reservations are accepted from April 1 to October 31 by calling 270-685-6142.
