A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Daviess County from Noon today to 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Heavy snow is expected with total accumulation between 4 and 7 inches. Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will become slick and hazardous.
The bulk of the snowfall is expected to occur near sunset through the overnight hours. Dangerous cold temperatures will follow after the snow ends.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
