At the height of the pandemic, Daviess County Fiscal Court added public Wi-Fi hotspots at seven volunteer fire stations.
The hotspots were activated to support students and adults who needed to work remotely but did not have access to high-speed internet. Nearly two years later, these hotspots remain available with the network information posted on signs at each location. Anyone can connect with a computer, smartphone, or tablet device.
If you have questions or need assistance connecting to the Wi-Fi network, contact the Daviess County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) during regular business hours at 270-685-8448.
