In Daviess County, three parks participate in the Fishing in Neighborhoods (FINs) program.
Lakes at Yellow Creek Park, Panther Creek Park, and Waymond Morris Park are stocked with catfish and rainbow trout throughout the year.
Dane Balsman is Urban Fisheries Biologist with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. He says a lake renewal project is underway at Waymond Morris Park in the City of Owensboro.

Another project is planned at Panther Creek Park to remove gizzard shad from the lake in January 2022.
