The Daviess County Fire Department is responsible for fire suppression at the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport.
Firefighters participated in a live burn exercise as part of required yearly aircraft training. The helicopter prop is provided by the National Responder Preparedness Center in Greenville, Kentucky.
