A local veteran shares his experience volunteering with the Daviess County Animal Shelter.
No matter your time or experience level, there’s always a job to do. Volunteers might walk dogs, wash dishes, assist with laundry, or transport animals to other shelters.

Regarding animal adoption, there’s a special offer that starts on Saturday, November 11. All fees will be waived for any veteran adopting a pet through Wednesday, November 15. Limit of two animals per household.
