The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office has notified residents of an increase in the vehicle inspection fee due to a change in state law.
Effective July 15, 2024, the cost will be $15 for each vehicle inspected at the Courthouse located at 212 St. Ann Street in Owensboro.
For an inspection at a dealership or location other than the Courthouse, residents will pay a $20 one-time travel fee plus the $15 inspection fee per vehicle.
