The Daviess County Conservation District will give out over 3,000 tree seedlings on Thursday, April 24.
Visit Yellow Creek Park at 5710 Kentucky Highway 144 on the east side of Owensboro. The distribution begins at 8 a.m. and continues until 3 p.m. or while supplies last.
The types of seedlings include: Eastern Redbud, Flowering Dogwood, Cypress, Pecan, Persimmon, Black Cherry, Black Walnut, Yellow-Poplar, White Oak, and White Pine. There is a limit of 10 seedlings per person.
