Get rid of those old tires for free! A tire amnesty event is coming to Daviess County this spring.
- Thursday, May 23 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Friday, May 24 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday, May 25 8 a.m. to Noon
The drop-off location will be the State Maintenance Garage at 2973 Fairview Drive in Owensboro.
Tires will be accepted on or off the rim, including Truck, Light Truck, Passenger Car, Farm Implement, Lawn Tractor, Bicycle, Motorcycle, Golf Cart and ATV.
Excluded from the list is foam-filled, calcium-filled, or solid tires, rubber tracks, and off-road construction tires (OTR).
Tire retailers, scrap/salvage yards, and recycling businesses are expressly prohibited.
