Daviess County Fiscal Court has approved a professional services contract with Gardner Engineering & Consulting for a structural assessment of the Courthouse TPO membrane roof.
The analysis will highlight whether the roof could support solar panels and the respective mounting equipment.
Following the study, the County Engineer will produce a cost benefit analysis with several scenarios, including possible grant funding. Fiscal Court could then evaluate pursuing the project further.
