The Daviess County Fire Department participated in an active shooter training with the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office at the Airport Station.
The Rescue Task Force (RTF) is designed to get lifesaving medical treatment to victims much sooner than traditional deployment methods.
Paramedics are placed in forward positions, protected by law enforcement, with the goal of providing emergency medical intervention while efforts continue to secure the scene.
