A parade is planned for James Wimsatt on Wednesday, September 18 at 1 p.m. Make your way to Veterans Boulevard on the Owensboro riverfront to wave and say hello.
Judge/Executive Charlie Castlen is joined by Jessie Hettinger of the VFW Post 696 Auxiliary for this announcement. Wimsatt served in World War II and will turn 106 years old. He resides at Chautauqua Health & Rehabilitation on Leitchfield Road.
