Owensboro Regional Recovery is seeking additional grant funding in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This week, Governor Andy Beshear announced $2.8 million for 14 Recovery Kentucky centers across the Commonwealth.
The funding was made available to the Department for Local Government by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through the CARES Act.
Each Recovery Kentucky center will be eligible for approximately $200,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) CARES funding. The financial support will help offset costs incurred due to COVID-19.

The Daviess County Fiscal Court held a public hearing on Thursday for the grant application and later approved a resolution of support.
