On Tuesday, November 14, Daviess County Fiscal Court will have summary second reading of two ordinances related to funding for the volunteer fire departments.
The proposal would remove membership dues from property tax bills and replace them with a 1.1 percent increase to the insurance premium license fee that would be restricted to fire service.
