The Daviess County Landfill has made several improvements to help with the disposal of construction and demolition debris (CD&D) loads.
Specifically, a new tipping pad was created for residential customers, separate from the large commercial waste. Solid Waste Manager Travis Ricker highlights other changes, including new directional signs and a wider road to the unloading area.
Remember that all CD&D loads larger than a pickup truck must go directly to the Landfill. The Transfer Station no longer accepts CD&D waste from trailers, dump trucks, or roll-offs.
