Judge Tom Castlen administered the oath of office to the newly elected members of Daviess County Fiscal Court on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
While the official “swearing-in” was held in December, it is tradition for the Fiscal Court to have a ceremony with family and friends in attendance prior to the first meeting.
“By having a spirit of cooperation while listening to the needs of our people, we will see our county prosper in a mighty way,” said Commissioner Janie Marksberry. “I am very excited about this group we have on Fiscal Court. I think we are going to work well together. And I think we all have the common goal of serving Daviess County.”
