The 2021 class of Leadership Owensboro unveils a portrait of Moneta J. Sleet, Jr. at Max Rhoads Park.
The portrait, created by Artist K.O. Lewis, will rotate throughout the community leading up to the “Through Sleet’s Eyes” festival in 2023. Judge-Executive Al Mattingly announced a $50,000 grant award, on behalf of Daviess County Fiscal Court.
