The Solid Waste Department is making progress on a 16.6-acre expansion of the Contained Landfill near West Louisville.
As part of the new cell construction, a 60-mil plastic liner is installed to protect the environment. Atlantic Lining Company, Inc. has been contracted to complete this portion of the project.
