The Issac Sterett Adventure Foundation held a kick-off event for Operation Community Cleanup.
“We had noticed an increasing amount of trash and roadside litter in our community,” said Board Member Kyle Aud. “We started talking about it and came up with Operation Community Cleanup.”
Individuals, families, and organizations are invited to form teams and join in a friendly competition to pick-up trash around Owensboro and Daviess County.
Check-in will be from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at 1010 Allen Street on Saturday, April 15. This event is free and family-friendly! Trash bags and gloves will be provided.
