The next catfish stocking is scheduled for Thursday, April 3.
Approximately 800 fish will be added to the lake at Panther Creek Park, with around 600 fish designated for Yellow Creek Park.
These lakes are stocked by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, as part of the Fishing in Neighborhoods (FINs) program.
With spring weather here, it’s a great time to get outside and fish! Remember that anyone 16 and older must possess a valid fishing license and have a permit to keep rainbow trout.
The lakes will be stocked again in May and June. For more information on the FINs program, visit https://fw.ky.gov/Fish/Pages/Fishing-In-Neighborhoods.aspx.
