Shooting Range Reopening Date

The Mattingly Target Shooting Range will reopen on Friday, February 28, depending on the weather and river forecast.
Formerly known as the Daviess County Gun Club, the 76-acre shotgun shooting sports complex is located in Maceo on the north bank of Pup Creek. This facility offers skeet, trap and two courses for sporting clays with no memberships required.
12-gauge ammunition is available but only sold for rounds used at the range. Until the time change, the facility will operate on weekends with the following schedule: Fridays from 10am – 4pm, Saturdays from 8am – 4pm, and Sundays from 10am – 4pm.
