Daviess County Fiscal Court is moving forward with plans for new restrooms at Horse Fork Creek Park.
The building will be located adjacent to the spray park and inclusive playground, near the front entrance on Fairview Drive.
Commissioners awarded a bid for the project at the July 15th Fiscal Court meeting. Work is expected to be complete by mid-October.
While the spray park is open Memorial Day – Labor Day, the restrooms will be accessible year-round with air conditioning in the summer and heat in the winter.
Fiscal Court held a ribbon cutting in June for the inclusive playground and added a pathway from the Greenbelt multi-use trail to the spray park.
