Daviess County Parks & Recreation is accepting picnic shelter reservations for April 1 – October 31.
Shelters are located at Panther Creek Park and Yellow Creek Park. To book a space, visit the online reservation portal.
“Our shelters are very affordable,” said Parks Director Ross Leigh. “They have ceiling fans, lights, electrical outlets, and a restroom in close proximity.”
The Parks Department will accept about 800 reservations a year. Weekends in the spring and fall are especially popular for family picnics, birthday parties, and class reunions.
