Lyddane Bridge Road South is closed at Flat Lick Creek for a bridge replacement project.
A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet started demolition work today. A new aluminum box culvert will be installed over the next month.
Lyddane Bridge Road South is expected to reopen by early September.
The bridge is located between Myles School Road and Flat Lick Road, about one-mile south of KY-279 in western Daviess County.
