Daviess County Parks & Recreation will serve as a host agency for the Senior Connections AmeriCorps program through the Green River Area Development District (GRADD).
Senior Connections has served partner agencies in the GRADD region since 1997, providing more than 675 people the opportunity to serve their community for a year while earning a living allowance and education award.
At Daviess County Parks & Recreation, the Senior’s Program Manager will support the goals of socialization, improved nutrition, and disaster preparedness. Additional responsibilities include: greeting park visitors, expanding programming opportunities for seniors, and assisting with special events.
