Agriculture Hall of Fame 2025 Inductees

Agriculture is a big business in Daviess County, representing well over 60 percent of the land surface at roughly 200,000 acres.

An Agriculture Hall of Fame is honoring the legacy of farmers who made the industry what it is today. The two latest inductees are Bob Baker and Lee Roy Walker. Baker was one of the founders of Kentuckiana Livestock Market. Walker was President of the Owensboro Tobacco Board of Trade in the 1980s and 1990s.

The Hall of Fame plaques may be found at the Owensboro Museum of Science and History in the Ford Government Gallery.

Clint Hardy is Extension Agent for Agriculture with the Daviess County Cooperative Extension Service and provides this update from the museum.
