Is there a leash law in Daviess County?
There is a leash law for the whole state of Kentucky.  This law states "All dogs must be on a leash, in a fenced yard or under the owner's control at all times."   

How long do you keep a stray dog?
We hold stray dogs for five days to give the owner a chance to reclaim him.
 

How long do you keep an owner relinqueshed dog?
There is not a set amount of time required to hold an owner relinquished dog.
 

Do you pick up stray cats?
We can pick up a stray cat if it is contained.
