Aysha was born in Germany. While there she received her initial training in explosive detection. Ruby Drexler's School for Dogs in Elkhart, Indiana imported her from Germany. After extensive and intense training at Drexler's she received her certification as a Explosive Dection K-9. Aysha was purchased by the Daviess County School Board. The Board and the Sheriff's Department share in the cost of Aysha's daily upkeep. Deputy Wolter and Aysha are on call to not only support the school system, but other Law Enforcement agencies in the surrounding area. |
